Besides that, here are some reasons that this is not the best idea you might have:

• Homework is supposed to give you practice so that you learn how to do the things in school. Can you pay somebody to practice your sports training for you? Can you pay somebody to learn how to drive a car for you? The same reason works for homework - if you don't practice, you won't ever learn how to do the work. When it comes time for a test, you will either have to keep cheating and risk getting caught and expelled, or you will flunk because you never learned how to do it.
• Paying somebody else to do your work leaves you with a very good chance that they don't know the answers either. Good students usually don't cheat, so anybody who is willing to do your work for you is likely to be just as clueless as you. You might just pay somebody a lot of money and still make a bad grade.
• You will eventually get caught. Everybody thinks they can break the law and get away from it, but the truth is, the police catch most criminals because they do stupid things. Students who cheat and copy someone else's work, or who pay to have somebody else do it for them, are doing something pretty stupid right there, and sooner or later they will slip up and get caught. Many schools will expel you for cheating, which is a lot worse than getting a bad grade or doing a boring assignment.

Cheating is not an effective way of doing anything. It looks as if it would be much easier just to copy someone else's answers, right? Judging from all the questions we get on just this website, you students are spending more time looking for ways to cheat than you would spend actually doing the homework! You'd already be finished if you had just done the work to start - and now you're still Surfing around the net looking up somebody else's work. Here are the problems you run into when you cheat: * it's not legal, so when you get caught, you might get thrown out of school, totally failed from whatever class you cheated for, fired from your job, and even arrested if you cheat on something like a government program * cheating when you are a student gives you the idea that cheating is OK and you can keep doing it, but when you get into the habit of cheating, you forget how to do things the right way, and you become a lazy and untrustworthy worker. Employers do not want workers who try to avoid doing work - they want people who will do their best on their jobs, and they want people they can depend on to be honest and trustworthy. * when you copy someone else, how do you really know if their answer is correct? Most of the people who will let you copy their work are not very good students themselves, or they'd be too busy doing their own work to do yours as well. This is especially true for online homework - I have seen a huge number of "fake" answers posted on this website by people just trying to stir up trouble by putting down the wrong answers and hoping somebody will copy them and fail. The only way to know for sure if it's correct is to look it up for yourself in the textbook, or ask the teacher - in other words, when you break the law, don't depend on other law-breakers to be honest and trustworthy to you, because you are all lying when you cheat anyhow! * when you cheat, you never learn how to do the skill yourself. This is how people graduate from school and still do not know how to read well enough to find a bottle of medicine in a pharmacy, and how people never learn how to do maths enough to figure out if they are getting the right pay for their job or whether they have enough money to buy that new car. If you want to end up as a loser who can't even function in the modern world, then keep cheating. There are websites that say they will do your homework for you. I spent some time and looked at some of the bigger ones. Here's what I found out: # They let anybodywrite an essay or homework assignment for you! They do not check to see if the writers have even graduated from any classes and are qualified to write that homework! This means you could end up with some lame piece of cr@p that might as well have "I was copied" written on the front in neon, glowing letters. Plus, the sample essays I looked at were awful - I'd have given them a bad grade if I were the teacher. # They are in it for the money. They might lead you on by saying "free" but once you get into the site, you have to pay for the answers. And they are not charging small fees - the largest site that came up on Google charges $10 US for THREE DAYS and $70 US for a six-month subscription. # Whenever somebody tries to sell you something that sounds too good to be true, like when they say "I will do your homework for you because I think you deserve it," they are after your money and they do not care at all what happens to you, so long as your money gets into their bank account. # I am not going to link to any of these sites, because you can always find them if you really want to. I think they are scams that are just out to con you into paying them, and I think you can find your own answers totally free just by looking in the book and using WikiAnswers for How-To help.

You could get someone to do your homework for you or attempt to get someone to give you the answers. Just remember, though, teachers are smart and they have ways of finding out if you are cheating. For one thing, if you do well on homework and poorly on a test given in class, it is apparent that you did not learn the material, so you most likely were not doing your homework and listening in class. In the end, the one you are cheating is you, but regardless of that, cheating is a major offense in school and you have to be there anyway. You might as well do your own homework.
