The old amber (conatins Aerodactyl DNA) can only be obtained by a long boring search all over the Pokemon world. You just go around using rock smash on rocks until you find one in the rubble. It would be easier to find one underground in Pearl/Diamond/platinum and give it to a Pokemon you will trade then just take it from it when you receive it and get it revived at the Pewter Museum/
