I took the steering wheel off and I am wondering where I go next, do I take the four big bolts that hold the steering col. to the bottom of dash off, or what , I sure could use some sound advise, I am mechanically inclined but I have never been inside one of these. my problem is the whole steering wheel moves around and I am trying to get to the bolts that hold it together in there somewhere........ any advice sure would be appreciated . thanks gents.....Jesse Vasquez @ cierrajane @ windstream.net Van is a 1988 Chevy van G20, with a 350 enjine......

The flasher on your Celebrity is located on the fuse block. The fuse block is on the bottom of the dash to the right of the steering column.

As long as the 1988 steering wheel is not air bag equipped it should work fine. I'm not sure what year air bags become manditory equipment in Chevy trucks. To be sure do a spline count of both steering wheels. You may need to use the hardware to attach the steering wheel to the column from the 1988. Usually just a nut/bolt; washer, and some kind of snap ring.
