We, the people. There are millions of users world-wide - anyone can answer, no matter where they are.
First of all, it's not «were», it's «where». Second, it's not a question of «where», but of «how». And third, Answers.com gets his answers from "his" users.
You do now. When I first joined, there was no requirement to have a facebook account. This has since been changed so that all new users must sign up with their facebook ID.

You can post an answer from answers.com to Facebook by copying and pasting it. There is no Facebook or any other social media share button available to users.
Anyone who has learned about this site can find out the answer or ask questions.
There the Bad Users on here, People who are SPA's and Supervisor's and those type of things are trying to stop that type of thing here.
