Why is goku alive in Dragon Ball gt when goku died in Dragon Ball Z Kai?
Dragon Ball Z Kai ends only at the Cell Saga. "Kai" can mean "redone" or "remade," and Dragon Ball Z Kai is a remake of Dragon Ball Z, since Nicktoons wanted a version with less blood and less...well...Master Roshi. But the original story does not stop at the Cell Saga. It goes on to the Majin Buu Saga, and Goku is given life again. Dragon Ball Z has a total of 276 episodes spanning the entire series (from Raditz to Majin Buu). I personally find Dragon Ball Z a lot better than Dragon Ball Z Kai. There are way more episodes and also the original lines (such as Vegeta's infamous Pink T-shirt line which is different in DBZ than in DBZK). Unfortunately, there is a lot of Master Roshi (if you know what I mean) and I am of course quite apalled by that. But it's very good, and I suggest you take a look at the original.
