It you go to The Bible online, there are at least 85 verses speaking about works - usually referring to the great works of God. But to understand the Christian debate about works vs. faith and how works alone does not assure salvation, suggest reading Romans 3 and 4; Galatians 2 and 3, Ephesians 2 and 4 and especially James 2:14-26.
