pull up on the front of the back seat and you will find the battery. G Lee - And for those of you who might have a 1997 Aurora, pull up on the back of the back seat (the hooks to hold the seat are on the front of the seat in the 1997).

The size of the battery, in a 2001 aurora is a 75n! and the best place to find the cheapest battery is WalMart.

The thermistor is located on the positive battery cable where the cable connects to the battery. There should be a red cover over it. Pinch together the plastic prongs to remove the red cover. Then disconnect the thermistor from the white clip it is attached to. You can test it with an ohm meter to find out if it is good. The reading on the meter should be 5 ohms. If the reading is lower than 5 or there is no reading at all then the thermistor is bad. Unfortunately this part is discontinued. I was lucky to find one at my local junk yard on another Aurora. Hope this helps.
You can find almost anything, including Aurora wheel caps, on eBay. Be sure to check for proper size (16" or 17") and material (aluminum or chrome).
