It used to be available for free download from the Bethesda site. Try there.
The first Elder Scrolls game was called Arena.
1994, the full name of the game was The Elder Scrolls: Chapter I: The Arena, however today it is simply refered to as The Elder Scrolls : Arena.
Possibly a trick question. The third elder scrolls game to be made was 'The Elder Scrolls Legends: Battlespire'. However the game known as "The Elder Scrolls 3" and a direct sequel to Daggerfall, is Morrowind.
Bloodworks? Yes, in the arena, they do.
The Elder Scrolls is a series not a game. The iterations of the series have appeared on multiple systems, however. Elder Scrolls 1: Arena ( PC/DOS ) Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall ( PC/DOS ) Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Bloodmoon, Tribunal ( PC, XBox ) Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion ( PC, XBox 360 , PS3 )
In my opinion, Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind was the best. Oblivion would be my second fevorite, followed by Arena. I can't wait for number 5 to come out later this year.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
You can find it on Steam.
Elder scrolls Daggerfall was released for the PC in 1996. It can still be played on today's computers using a DOS emulator such as DOSBox http://www.dosbox.com/ The game client can be downloaded from the Official Daggerfall website http://www.elderscrolls.com/daggerfall
Well, I have it, and I see that the game was ran off of Floppy Discs, which are rarely used now, so I don't think that Arena will be available in too many places. I would check online (Ebay/Craigslist)
There is The Elder Scrolls Online, but that is a different game.
Elder scrolls V: Skyrim comes out on 11/11/11
