it's in the trunk , a sticker on the hing of the trunk
could be the resistor (relay). Did the fan fail all at once or did it work on a "speed" and not others? My friend has a "Ford" and he replaced the switch AND fan motor before finding out it was the "relay" switch.
My problem is that when I shut off van my lights come on and window wipers also... no radio, heater is always on high... which relay switch controls all these?
The relay switch on a 1997 Chrysler Town and Country mini van is located on the front bumper reinforcement. It is controlled by the PCM (Powertrain Control Module).
where is the relay switch located on 1995 town car for power windows
It is under the steering wheel to the left right to the headlight switch.
most likely a faulty relay
No headlight relay listed. The headlight circuit breaker is integral with the headlight switch.
It is on the trunk hinge on the driver side.
I had the same problem with my Town Car. It had a thermal cutout switch on the hot water line coming from the engine to the heater. This switch kept the fan from coming on before the engine got warm. I bypassed the switch by taking both wires off and connecting them because the price of a new switch was totally ridiculous. Now i have complete controle of the fan with the switch on the control.
relayIn my 1992 Lincoln town car the relay switch is on the driver side under the hood by the windshield washer containier hope that helps.
On the dashboard below the radio, to the right of the rear defroster switch. Right where it says "Max AC" etc.
It is located behind the grill closer to the driver side.
