This is for City Folk not Wild World. The only way you can meet a ghost is if you let your town get a ton a weeds; like if you time travel. Then this ghost named Wisp will visit. Wisp is a Ghost who appears randomly in your town after 8pm. You will know when Wisp is going to visit because you will find a golden lamp somewhere laying around in your town. If you do not find/pick up the lamp then Wisp will not appear at night and the lamp will be gone the next day. If you do find the lamp, walk around your town after 8pm and although you will not initially see Wisp he will greet you and ask you to come closer. As you get closer to him he will finally appear and ask you to find the lamp. When you speak to him again, with the lamp in your inventory Wisp will tell you to go to the attic in your house and will disappear into the lamp. When you get to your attic, you can select the magic lamp and use the 'rub' option. At this point Wisp will reappear and give you a choice of wish. Here are the wishes he will grant you, you can only choose one. Weed! - Removes all weeds in your town Smash Roaches! -- Removes all Roaches in your house Give me stuff! -- You are asked to choose either clothes, furniture, hats or accessories. Whichever you choose you will receive one of those items right away. Meh. I'm good -- Wisp will return to his lamp and will not come back out. He will just tell you to 'go away'
