OXFORD ARMS CO was a tradename used by Belknap Hardware of Louisville, Kentucky on shotguns made by Crescent Fire Arms Company and by J. Stevens Arms Company. It will not have a serial number as these were not required on firearms sold in the US before 1968.
Not likely to find one. Serial numbers weren't required on long arms until 1969 and this gun was made by Anciens Etablissment Pieper around 1910.
You cannot the serial number is required.
You must identify the manufacturer, model, and possibly the serial number as a start. It may get more complicated after that.hartford firs arms co. 169715
May not have one- not required by law on rifles and shotguns until 1968.
You will have to call Browning with the serial number to find out.
You are stupid ;b
look on the breach, barrel.
Serial numbers were not required on long arms before Jan 1, 1969. Most manufacturers did not assign serial numbers to small caliber rifles or utility shotguns.
Generally, you can't. It might be possible with Browning, but, you will need to call them with the serial number.
The serial number only tells one where in the run & what year it was manufactured in, not who made it.
