in honey tree's but not always just put some honey on it: Burmy is a very unique Pokémon in that its form is ever changing between the three cloaks; Plant Cloak, Sand Cloak & Trash Cloak. These are changed dependant on the area that Burmy last battled upon.
If its on Grassy areas then it'll be Plant Cloak due to picking up leaves.
If in caves, beaches or sandy areas in general then it'll be Sand Cloak due to picking up the rocks and sand.
If in buildings or on roads then it'll become the Trash Cloak.
However, as a Burmy, it gets no use out of these changes as they are purely cosmetic, but evolve a female one with its last battle in one of those places, and it evolves into a Wormadam level 20+= wormadam level 20+ = mothim

Get some Honey and put some on trees probably on route 214 and eventually a female Burmy should pop up it took me three times to find a female burmy but just level up your burmy and evolve it im pretty sure thats the only way you can get a wormadam Good Luck☺

You can't get Wormadam itself in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. You need to get Burmy, its pre-evolution, and then evolve it in level 20. But it needs to be a girl to evolve to Wormadam, or else it will evolve into Mothim. To get your own Burmy, just give honey in the Sweet Honey Trees and wait till they start moving. "Talk" to them when they are moving and you'll get Burmy! Well, it won't be Burmy for sure because you can find lots of Pokemon in the Sweet Honey Trees. Burmy is a bug type and its Capture Rate is 120% (very easy to catch)!!! Remember that its type and form changes.
