Barbie appeared in a book of her own- sadly short lived- not much on plot- but one issue had Barbie and Ken as govt. EPA ecology agents- out in an animal-saving mission and Barbie rescuing a river otter- it is nice to see compassionate stuff in comics! there was also a neat inversion on the Tarzan or Garden of Eden as modern technical spies parachute into the jungle-to Help save endangered species! a nice twist. Barbie comics were put out by Marvel comics and sadly are no longer extant. The EPA agents story was for its type, a good one!
