Basically anywhere. All you need is a BlueTooth Microphone earpiece or headset. The same ones that are used for phones will work, too. The Official PS3 microphone earpiece can be bought at most major retail stores, like Walmart, Best Buy, ect, you can purchase from online stores, such as PlayStation's website, phone stores, or even eBay. Any BlueTooth microphone should work. I have not heard of any that don't.
There are also wired microphones that will work. Many will, but I know for a fact that Logitech makes compatible microphones for PS3. I had a Logitech Pro Chat USB for a long time. Served me good for a long time.
Hope this helps!
no it doesn't.
No you can not
It kind of depends. MOST mics should be compatible with the PS3
To connect the DJ Hero microphone to a PS3, first ensure your console is powered on. Plug the microphone's USB connector into one of the USB ports on the front of the PS3. Once connected, the microphone should be automatically recognized by the system, and you can adjust its settings in the game's audio options if needed. Make sure to test it in-game to confirm it's working properly.
Nope, sorry.
The warning message you're seeing indicates that the game requires a microphone to proceed, likely because it includes vocal gameplay elements. Check to ensure the microphone is properly connected to the PS3 and recognized by the system. If you’re using a compatible microphone and still receiving the message, try restarting the game or the console. Additionally, verify that the microphone settings in the PS3 system menu are correctly configured.
Bluetooth is a wireless technology for transferring data. A microphone pickups sounds. What are you asking?
No, you can't.
No Nintendo and Sony are totally different makers!
Yes, but only if its a usb microphone if it plugs in the bottom of the 360 controller than no. Any microphone would work even a non game one if it can plug into the usb port on a ps3
Guys i submitted the question the extra information is that the headset is completely functional because it all works on my computer. The problem is that I can hear everything through it on the PS3, but every headset's microphone doesn't work. I don't get why the microphone is the only thing not working, please help.
Press the PS button in the middle of your PS3 controller, go to "Accessories," then to "Manage Mic." Be sure to register your microphone while you press the power button.
