It is called Command Prompt and it comes with Windows operating systems NT through Vista.
You can access the command prompt by clicking Start/Run... , typing CMD, and then press ENTER or click the OK button.
You can create a Java program by writing it in any text editor - for example Notepad, or Notepad++. You can compile it with the "javac" command, and, if it compiles without errors, run it with the "java" command. Or better, simplify your life by installing an IDE (integrated development environment), such as Netbeans or Eclipse.

No, main() class is required to execute the program as that's the starting point of the program.
For this, you need at least two things: a text editor (like notepad, edit, vi, whatever) and a c compiler. c programs are written as text files, but you can't execute your code without the compiler. There are free c compilers available, like gcc and dev-c++.
Launching a notepad window is mostly the same on Windows 8 except that without a dock / start screen patch program, you will have to launch it via the start page. The easiest way to do this is to press the windows key then type "notepad", the only remaining tile should be the notepad executable tile. To open an existing HTML document with Notepad, you can still right click the file and click "edit" to open in Notepad.

Removing viruses without a suitable program is not recommended. While you can remove the affected files, viruses can execute programs that go unnoticed by a user. If a user cannot purchase an antivirus program, there are free and trial options available.
You can edit javascript scripts with any text editor, notepad only edits it, notepad has nothing to do with the actual execution of the javascript. So the answer is "yes"
With special linker-options (platform-dependent) you might be able to create a program that has function 'Start' (for example), instead of 'main', but I don't see any reason in it.
Ha, this question is soooooo weird, but, when you installed the conduit, your files saved on the computer. You can't transfer them back, but you have them. Uninstall the conduit, and uninstall Note Pad. Then, re sync notepad without the conduit. You should be fine.
