A good website to check is Squidoo - they can offer sound advice and is very helpful in aiding you with easy to read instructions about free sound effects.
The better Fender amps work splendidly for both purposes. I can think of even better amps for the "metal/effects" stuff, but they don't have anywhere near the clean sound of the Fenders.

Very difficult indeed. The easiest way would be to record a faucet running on high. Don't know of any software that creates the sound of water ... so the best would be to simply download some good waterfall sound effects and import into your project.

Yes, I just got one. Loud and clean, very versitile, with 3 onboard effects. It would be a great practice amp if you can handle the weight, and it's clean sound makes it a nice recording amp as well... loud enough for some good old jamming. Great sound, especially for jazz or country, but great for rock too!
