I am sorry to say no matter what the reason if you can't keep up vet bills or the shots for the puppy then you shouldn't own one. Now that you have it please phone your local Shelters or, go to a vet and offer to work the bill off by cleaning cages, sweeping the floor. Most vets if they realize you are not seeking out a hand out will often help you with the financial difficulties. My vet is one smart woman, and most of us that bring out pets in give donations so that people who have had some tough luck and mainly the elderly can get decent health care for their pets. There is nothing worse than separating a loving pet owner from their beloved pet. If you feel you can't give this puppy the best care simply because you can't afford it, then please, find a good and loving home for the puppy so it will receive the proper care. Perhaps later on you'll be able to have a pet and give it the care it needs.
