You can find a parts breakdown for a Savage Model 170 pump action rifle in the owner's manual or by contacting Savage Arms directly. They may have diagrams or instructions available to help with identifying and ordering replacement parts for your firearm.
For MOST- make sure rifle is unloaded. Open bolt, draw to the rear. Press and HOLD trigger, and slide the bolt out of the rifle.

Regrets- you probably WON'T find them. That rifle was made from 1928-1931. Gunpartscorp is sold out of used parts for that model. You can check with the Mossberg section on the rimfire central forum, or contact Havlin Sales through their website, but the rifle is simply too old, and made for too few years. Good luck in your search.
