They're called "welding glasses", also worn by the character Alucard in Hellsing and William Rockwood in the film V for Vendetta. They're basically John Lennon glasses with small blinders on the sides to keep the sun out. Popularised during the 1950's I believe.
I wouldn't have a clue where to obtain a pair, but if you find some let me know too.
