Well, we have many organizations that are working to stop animal abuse. Some people go to jail, and some get a warning depending on how bad the abuse was. Most people go to jail AND pay a fine. More and more people are making donations to organizations like ASPCA, HSUS, PETA, and more... Those donations help win the fight of animal cruelty, neglect, and abuse.
Go to your supervisor (unless your supervisor is the perpetrator), the Human Resources office, or to the grievance officer where you work. I'm hoping you work at a large enough company that you can do one of these.
Although it is a good idea to shred personal documents that contain sensitive information, it is not the only way to protect your personal information. One effective way to protect your personal information is to go paperless. Get your bills and statements online so there is no paper to shred.
