You can get there by using the explorer kit you get from a guy in Eterna city. if you keep going to him you can get more stuff including a digger drill.More specifically, just dig in a shiny space in the wall in the underground (tap the screen to scan the area, a shiny spot in the wall is where things are hidden.) use the hammer and pickaxe to dig in. anything you uncover completely will be added to your bag, then if it's a treasure, move it to your overland bag. In pearl, you can get shieldon fossil, in diamond you can get the cranidos fossil. to get the fossils returned into Pokemon, give them to someone in the mining museum. (the scientist behind the counter.) go outside then come back in. make sure you have a free Pokemon space, and collect your Pokemon. you get it at level 20, no matter what Pokemon it is.Also once you have the national dex you can get ALL the fossils including kabuto areodactyl etc.
