KEEP IN MINDE UNLESS YOU ARE QUALIFIED GUN SMITH YOU SHUOLD NOT BE SWAPING BOLTS BARRELS OR ACTION PARTS OF ANY KINDE... How ever changing the butt stock is somewhat simple task and the butt stock from both 12 and 16 gauge will fit. Make sure that both are JC Higgins 583 20 .
