Use the public library that buys the book. Any free online site is stealing from the author and publisher.
You can look on wattpad.com or 4shared.com. It should be there. If you have an Android running phone, you can download it for free from the Market. Just type in "Maximum Ride Books" And it should come up.
Try your online library.
you can't read the manga on the Internet but, you can read a samples.
You can find them for free at your local library. Otherwise, just go and borrow it from a friend, or buy it at Barnes and Nobel or any other place that sells books. :-)
all i know is that James Patterson has the 1st 8 chapters of Angel on his site.
You can read some on epubbud.com. It has lots of books you can read online for free. (You can also make your own books there.) =) Search "Fang", then click on the first picture you see of Fang. Click on the picture, then it will take you to the book. Then, you just click the arrow & it will take you to the other page.

Only six volumes have been released as of December 2012. Maximum Ride is an Original English Language (OEL) manga and no free samples of the volumes to come are available on Yen Press's site.

If your public library bought the e-book, then you can check it out for free. Otherwise James Patterson is not giving the book away for free so any online copy is pirated and may also have malware.
I don't know anywhere where you can read the full novel for free, but on a website called issuu.com you can read the free preview of all currently released novels.
