- As far as I know, the Maximum Ride manga isn't online to read for free. I think you'll have to buy it, which kind of stinks; not that Yen Press doesn't deserve the money, it's just so much easier to read it online.
It is illegal to access manga for free if it is not provided by the official publisher or authorized platforms. You can consider subscribing to legitimate manga platforms like Viz Media, Manga Plus, or ComiXology to read Maximum Ride legally.
mangafox used to have it but not any more :(. you can try goodmanga, mangareader, or onemanga <333
You can reserve it from a local library, or buy it in a nearby bookstore. I haven't found it anywhere online, but I believe that's because it hasn't been translated yet.
Probably at onemanga.com .
In Borders!
you can't read the manga on the Internet but, you can read a samples.
Only six volumes have been released as of December 2012. Maximum Ride is an Original English Language (OEL) manga and no free samples of the volumes to come are available on Yen Press's site.

As far as I know, there is no website where you can read it for free. Though, if you have a copy of Max: A Maximum Ride Novel, there is a sneak peek at the back of the book. If you want to read the whole manga, you're better off just buying it then searching for it online because I have spent lots of time looking for it with no luck.
at a library
Yes, there is going to be one in January and one in October I found this on a "MAXIMUM RIDE" Website that was discussing the release of the new Manga comic book due to release at Free Comic Book Day. Hope this was what you needed.
You can't, I'm sorry. You can go into a Borders or Barns'n'Noble store and read them for free (but you can't keep it for free, if that's what you want. Heehee.) That's not true one of my friends tried that and she got kicked out along with being band from Barns'N'nobles
I would recommend getting it at your local library.
Um, the excerpts are not in the web yet, but if you buy the manga volume 2, there the excpert included. But, a few weeks before the book comes out, they usually provide a sneak peak and post it in the web. Just wait for it. There is an audiobook on iTunes for free that is Book One. It has the first seventeen chapters. On jamespatterson.com go to the Maximum Ride series page and it will show an excpert of the first six chapters.
Manga Studio 3.0 is free.
