Obviously there are a lot of different places to hide a key outside however there are very few are safe. Some common places that people admit to hiding a key include the door mat, above the door, in the downspout of the gutter, on a nail in the garage or another outdoor location (under the deck is popular) - some choose to attach the key to the dogs collar or place it in the dog house. NONE of these are a good idea!
