Are you doing a project for school on that book? That's the same question I have to answer. In my opinion, I think Peter shouldn't have done all the things he did to Cole. But Cole should have more patience. Eventually Peter should forgive COle.
He tries to kill the bear with a spear he made, and a charred knife he used to cook fish.
He understands that no matter what you do, you are going to die someday.I will tell you the truth I really don't like talking about death, that is a good question.
not really let him...more like he would let Peter, cuz he knows all the pain he put peter through He trys to help him, more than let Peter beat him up
Cole carved... An eagle, wolf, raven, seal, beaver, spirit bear, rain drop n lightning bolt, seagull, and a circle. The Spirit Bear was carved twice, then turned into the circle. .
When Cole is first banished to the island he is 15. After being mauled by the bear, treated for at the hospital and returned to full health, he returns to the island to start his banishment over. He spends the year there so apparently he turns 16.

I am really not sure.....but he did eat grass, mice, i think some of his own barf/vomit, worms, insects... I'm not sure of the order sorry! =). At first he ate some grass-choked on it, spit it out, then ate it again. Next he went onto worms, then to bugs like ants, beetles, spiders, and even a fuzz…y caterpillar. Next he ate a small mouse, and then finally some of his own barf-(the fish he had eaten earlier.) ( Full Answer )

From the cover picture, he looks Caucasian, lanky with short, blond hair. A well built back and arms, too.
The spirit bear changes Cole because it is not trying to harm Cole he is just protecting himself.
He doesn't attack him after the first time. Because the first time Spirit Bear attacked him Cole was a threat, later in the book, Cole understands that for Spirit Bear to trust him he can't threaten Spirit Bear.
Because the Spirit Bear can look straight at Cole and is not scared at all. So because of the bear not being scared he vows to kill him.
Cole learns some what from Edwin and Garvey, but he mostly learns from everything he did when he came to the island the second time. Such as carrying the ancestor rock up the hill and rolling it back down. Also when he soaks in the little river. Then he also controls his anger by doing the "anger da…nce" after Garvey and Edwin left the island. ( Full Answer )
Peter was the kid who was always stuttering, and scared. he was the kid that cole beat to a pulp.

He was beaten up by spirit bear. Actually, he was mauled by the spirit bear.
He is scared that he could have died when he got mauled and that's what changed him. He wasn't ready to give up his life yet.
Cole was mad in the beginning because the spirit bear wasnt affraid of him. so he wanted to kill it. the spirit bear was showing self diffence so he attacked cole. he learns that life can change instantly, and it can't be controlled(like when the baby bird's tree was struck, but it wasn't expected, and they depened on it,also)
because that was the emotion he's felt the most in the book, atleast halfway through(not sure if he felt it at the moment, though, maybe?)
By having him come to the island and experence the changes in spirit he (Cole) has
that not everthing is afraid of him ,and that he has little power over life
he deals with his rage by: going to a healing session called circle justice and and he has to stay on a isolated island for an year there he gets mauled by a misterious bear that saved his soul
yes he realizes that what he did to peter was bad and wants to make up for it. In the end, both of them end up being friends
I have read the book, and the Spirit Bear appears in all different parts of the story, which adding them all up, the Spirit Bear appears in the book about 4-7 times total
Peter is shy . Cole smashes his head into the cement. When peter tries to kill himself they brought him to island. Cole and him became friends.
definitely! When peter had to come to the island, he was acting the way cole acted to him. He was trying to get cole back, just so cole would see how it feels
he expected the bear to be afraid of him, because he thinks everything is afraid of him, when it's actually the other way around

Cole beat Peter in touching spirt bear because he was mad at the whole world and he needed to take it out on somebody
Cole from touching spirit bear is the main character in the story, fifteen year old Cole Matthews grows up with an abusive father and a barbie doll mother. Cole's mother never defends herself or her son, against the abusive father.Because of Cole's harsh childhood he has learned to never show fear, …to intimitate people and ultimately punish people when " they deserve it, " as his dad says to him before abuse. Cole has no respect for elders. I suspect this is because he has learned to drown out his fathers hurtful words. Cole has grown up all his life where his elders ( his father, and mother ) are terrible to him. I think Cole expects the same from all adults since he has grown up with two terrible ones. Cole shatters Peter Driscals head into the sidewalk.Because Peter told on him for stealing from a store. Cole is banished to an Alaskin island for one year to understand the depth of the crime he committed, and to respect and become one with nature. ( Full Answer )
