He called people of the universe for Hajj at Ka'abah.

Ka'aba is the House of Almighty Allah. It was rebuilt by Hazrat Abraham (AS) assisted by his son Hazrat Ismaiel (AS). Almighty Allah commanded Hazrat Abraham (AS) to announce to the people of the universe (living or yet to take birth) to come to Ka'aba to perform Hajj. Miraculously, the people or the souls yet to be born replied, "Labbaik, Allah Humma Labbaik . Labbaika La Shrika Laka Labbaik. Innal Hamda, wan-Na;amataka, laka wal Mulk, la Sharika lak. Translation: Here we present ourselves, O, Our Allah Almighty. All praise be to You, all blessings are from You, for you belongs all Power. You, Who have no Partner or Associate.. And whosoever proclaim Talbihah is supposed to be blessed with the visit of Ka'aba. The Muslims offer their prayers facing Ka'aba. They come here to perform Umrah and hajj. It is the Most Sacred place on the earth for the Muslims.

What is the relationship of Abraham to the fifth pillar of Islam?

The fifth pillar of Islam is Hajj. It is solely associated with Hazrat Abraham (AS). When he and his son re-built the Ka'abah, Allah Almighty commanded them to call people to perform Hajj. Thus the rituals of Hajj were started by Hazrat Abraham (AS). Stoning the three Devils (Satan-Jamraats), sacrificing animals are the rituals which remind us how he prepared to sacrifice his son Hazrat Ismail (AS) and how Satan tried to persuade him not to do so. Walking/running between Safa and Marwa (two hills) reminds us how Hazrat Hajirah (AS) ran between these two hill in search of water.

No change in name should take place after doing Hajj. People start calling a pilgrim "Haji" just out of respect. I don't let people call myself Haji. Well, Performing Hajj is a religious duty. If you offer Prayer-Nimaz- no one calls you Nimazi.
