At a wedding feast in Cana in Galilee where Jesus turned water into wine. This is recorded in John 2:3-11.

It may be worthy of note that this is the only miracle which is specifically stated to be his first. Other gospels recorded other miracles first in terms of the ones they recorded, but they never claimed that any of them was Jesus' first in terms of chronology as John did in relation to the Cana miracle.

Since the question is not limited to the mortal ministry or even the mortal life of Jesus, we may therefore look to the pre-mortal miracles performed by Jesus. Prior to his mortal life Jesus was known as Jehovah. The very first miracle that we have record of is his creation of the earth.

However, if the question is to be construed as to the first mortal miracle Jesus performed then the conversion of water to wine was the first miracle performed during his mortal ministry.

If the question is to be construed as to the first miracle Jesus performed as Christ, then this means we must look to miracles after Jesus' resurrection. It was not until after his resurrection that Jesus became the Christ. The first miracle performed after the resurrection is debatable; it could be his appearance to Mary in the garden, his appearance to the apostles, or his ascension into heaven.

Jesus' first miracle is turning water into wine. This is explained in John 2:1-11 which says

On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine."

"Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied, "My time has not yet come."

His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."

Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.[a]

Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim.

Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet."

They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."

This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him.

According to John's Gospel, there was a wedding party in Cana of Galilee. The wine ran out and Mary commanded Jesus to turn water into wine. She had absolute confidence in his ability to do so and told the servants to heed Jesus, even though the mission of Jesus had not begun and he had not yet demonstrated an ability to perform miracles. This miracle was reported as occurring before Jesus time had yet come, so could be considered his first miracle, although it is also possible that the author was attempting to attribute to Jesus the same miracle as already attributed to the Greek god Dionysis.

Jesus' first miracle was when he turned somewhere between 120 and 180 gallons of water into wine at the Wedding Feast of Cana. (John 2:1-12.) Somehow I think part of this account was mistranslated in the KJV. According to John, when everyone had drunk up all the wine, Mary said to Jesus, "they have no wine." Said Jesus, "woman, what concern is that to you and me?" That doesn't seem a very respectful way to speak to your mom, and Jesus was a respectful person.
