Mother Teresa
As of February 2014, Mother Teresa has been beatified but not canonized.
Mother Teresa did not attend school as girls could not attend school at the time in Albania. She was home schooled by her mother. When she became a sister of Loretto, she was sent to Ireland for a few months to learn English.
Mother Teresa died in 1997 so is unable to receive mail at this time. Try praying to her.
When she first joined the Sisters of Loreto, she was sent to Ireland for a few months of learning English. After that, she was a postulant and a novice in training to become a sister of Loreto in Darjeeling, India. She spent a few months in Patna to receive a basic medical training in the Holy Family Hospital and then ventured out into the slums. That is the extent of her training.
Mother Teresa received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 in Oslo, Norway.
