The Percy Jackson series is fictional, based on some Greek mythology, legends, and myths. Rick Riordan didn't hear the stories from somewhere else then put it into writing - he started with a few ideas and eventually turned them into books and then a best selling series. He's making a sequel series, the Heroes of Olympus.

What impact did Percy Jackson have on you?

I didn't know how to add more info to the question, but the more answers the merrier. I'm doing this as an online poll for a paper. Please only answer if you have read Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Further questions: Did Percy Jackson inspire you to learn more about Greek mythology? How did it affect you as a person/ change your worldview? (this is optional, but helpful- just write what you can) Do you have dyslexia or ADHD? If so, what was your opinion on their portrayal? Feel free to add any impact the series had on you.

What surprising thing did Percy Jackson learn about his friend grover in chapter two?

In chapter two of the Lightning Thief, the first book of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, Percy learns something very surprising about his friend Grover. Percy learns that Grover is a satyr. A satyr is a fantastical creature that does not exist in the real world. I am not completely sure of the physical characteristics of a satyr, but I think it may be half human, half horse.

Lesson that you can learn on the novel?

A lesson you can learn from Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, is to never give up faith, and to believe in yourself. This book was incredible. I highly recommend you read it, unless you already read it.

You would learn so much more in the books. If you listen carefully, you can learn about the Greek gods and their past. But once again, the books pull through to give more information.

In Chapter 5 " Grover takes Percy into the farmhouse to meet somebody named Chiron and somebody named Mr. D. Percy discovers that Chiron is Mr. Brunner!
