Millions of Billions of dollars.
MONEY. It allows you to do everything else. People say money isn't everything, they are right, but having money lets you buy everything else. And that BS about money can't make you happy, if money can't then nothing can. They are lying to you. Money is theclosest to real happiness you can get...everything else involves making good decisions with your money and life.

An individual teacher better not make anything. Raffles are held to make money for the school or other charities. A teacher taking money would be theft.
States were unlikely to want to spend money to make black schools equal.
Schools get about $30,000 a year from vending machines.
Fairtrade doesn't make any money. The point of Fairtrade is to make products that give a fair wage to the farmer, and then be able to cover the costs of running and transporting Fairtrade. Any money made will be given to charities such as Comic Relief.
no charities dont aim to make a proffit because it goes towards oparations and treatments
Charities raise money and give it to the poor they could spend it on food to give them or it could go towards a home. If the charities help countries it could help make a better educational system, get better health services, give them clean water, help them build homes or go towards other local charities that feed the children and help them with nutrition ect.. but if they give the money to the Government they may spend it on themselves. Thats all I could think of (:

You can make donations and make charities
Most high schools with vending machines do make money off of proceeds from vending machines on their campuses. However, laws passed in many states have banned vending machines in schools, so obviously high schools in those states no longer make money off of their vending machines or may only be able to have vending machines operating during non-school hours.
Because the government only spends money on schools.

Charities by definition are non profit. The term comes from the IRS 501 c 3 distinction which allows certain nonprofits to accept charitable donations, meaning donations to the organization are tax deductible. There are other nonprofits that do not have that distinction and are not considered charities. Some charities own for profit subsidiaries or social enterprises, yet the charities themselves are still nonprofit. Some states, have introduced new corporate structures that both benefit society and are for profit, yet they are not charities. Non profit does not mean the agency loses money or has to break even every year and for profit does not mean it has to make money. Some nonprofits earn significant revenue and some for profit companies lose money. Nonprofit is a tax status and charitable is a distinction under that status.
