Because the water molecules 'lock' together when the temperature drops - forming solid ice. Warming up the ice-cube releases the 'lock', and the ice turns back to water.
They move faster and faster. Eventually they move fast enough that they break free of their place in the lattice and the ice melts.
The temperature must heighten for ice to melt. The melting point of ice/water is about 0 degrees Celsius. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Suppose we are at 1 atmosphere and we want to melt an ice cube (of pure water) that is at -5oC. We give heat to the ice cube (hypothetically at very slow rate so we warm the ice cube in a homogeneous fashion). The temperature of the ice cube will rise to 00C before it starts to melt. During the melting process the heat given to the ice is invested in braking the intermolecular bonds. This is called the latent heat of fusion or fusion enthalpy. Not until the ice completely melts, the temperature will start going up again.
when the ice cube is taken out of the freezer the warm air or the climate change will have the effect to make it melt because when the ice cube freezes its in a very cold climate at about 32 degrees or cooler and when warm air hits what ever was cold it heats up and it melts it back to its regular form.
Are you talking about how to stop them from being made? If so, there should be a lever (often silver) that you can lift up that stops the water from entering the cube maker.
Where did Drake the rapper grow up from
tupac all the way i mean its in the record sales look it up tupac has sold a total of 567 millon records he sold 123 million when he was alive and 444 million when he was dead so tupac is the better rapper
ice cube
An ice cube is just frozen water. When an ice cube melts it becomes water. Eventually, the water will evaporate.
how do i keep and ice cube from melting with out foam for 8 hours
Yes he didd !
a ice cube melts when it heats up
Yes- my friend's dad looks EXACTLY like Ice cube- I just searched up ice cube and looked at his ears because my friend's dad has small ears. O.o I'm beginning to think he IS ice cube.
no it does not a rollor coaster has it because it goes up on track and ice cube doesnt move unless YOU move it so the answer is no

I believe ice cubes in apple juice will melt faster, since water is clear, and juice is red, juice will absorb more sunlight than water will, and therefore heats up faster.
