When Hitler orderd the Invasion of France in 1940. Hitler wanted to go straighted for dunkirk and Paris as they were 2 key cities to occupy.

The strategy behind Hitler's plan was to first launch 5 invidual waves across the entire french and beglium border then wanted to sweep entire northern france, all the way to dunkurk. During this, 2 main battled divisions went for southern france and then swept across east towards Paris.

This tactic of going for Paris and Dunkerk putted pressure onto the french resistance and eventually lead to the fall of France within nearly 6 weeks.

Why Germans break through the Maginot Line?

The Germans did not actually break through the Maginot Line; instead, they bypassed it during World War II. The Maginot Line was a defensive fortification built by France along its eastern border to deter German invasion. However, in May 1940, the German military executed a rapid invasion through the Ardennes Forest, which was less fortified, allowing them to encircle French forces and render the Maginot Line ineffective. This tactical maneuver ultimately led to the swift defeat of France.

Why was the battle of somme fought in northern France?

Because the Somme is a river, situated in northern France. And why was the Western Front of WW 1 mostly situated in northern France? Because the Germans had hoped to invade through northern France (thereby avoiding the bulk of the French troops, who were situated in eastern France) and then push on to Paris and western France. But the Germans were fought to a standstill in northern France (that was the Battle of the Somme) and they never managed to break through for the rest of the war.

What was one thing that Germans had to do when war broke out?

Well in World War I the Germans industry stepped up to produce weapons and supplies for the German military in the Trench war that was happening in France. The Germans showed the world how powerful they really were.In World War II war didn't just break out for Germany, they we're very prepared for war. The Germans had built their military back up to global superpower standards. The Germans took Poland for its resources so they could supply their war. Then the rest of Europe was taken over and Germany then again had resources to fuel the war. The Germans didn't need just Iron, they also needed fuel, so the war for the Middle East and North Africa started between Germany and Britain. The Germans had a good plan and dominated Europe but they bit off more than they could chew too quickly. If Germany would have waited to invade the Soviet Union I'm almost positive Germany would have won the war and be the Superpower of the world today.

How does fascism German nationalism and treaty of Versailles relate to each other?

well the treaty of versaille ended world war one. and basically the germans got screwed over by the other big countries such as the US, so germans became pissed off and this lead hitler to take power in germany. Hitler empowered germans through a sense of nationalistic pride, saying that the treaty of versaille was very unfair. He even said stuff like "we will break the chains of versaille", and this ultimately led to world war two
