In Matthew's Gospel, they received instructions to go to Galilee, where they met Jesus in a mountain. They were told to spread the gospel.
In Luke's Gospel, they continued life together in Jerusalem, where Jesus appeared to them at a meal. They followed him out to Bethany, where he was taken bodily up into heaven.
In John's Gospel, they also continued life together in Jerusalem, where Jesus appeared to ten of them at a meal, giving them the Holy Spirit. A few days later, they were once again at a meal in Jerusalem, when Jesus once again appeared to them. They then went fishing in Galilee and again Jesus appeared to them.
In Acts of the Apostles, they remained in Jerusalem for at least forty days, when Jesus ascended to heaven. Afterwards, under the leadership of Peter, they selected Matthias as the apostle to replace Judas. Later, when they were together in one place, the Holy Spirit descended on them. Afterwards, they found they could preach in every language.
Mark's Gospel originally provided no information about Jesus or the disciples after his resurrection. However the Long Ending* says that they remained in Jerusalem, where Jesus appeared to them at a meal and, after speaking to them, ascended to heaven. They went forth and preached everywhere.
