It is unclear where the first home church was but it is generally believed to have been in Jerusalem. This belief is based primarily on the following: In the book of Acts, chapter 1 it states:
"Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey. 13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. 14These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren."
Acts 1:12-14 (KJV)
Note it states they "continued with one accord in prayer and supplication..." These activities are indicative (and indeed were the mainstays) of the early church.
Later, in Acts chapter 5 it states:
"27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them, 28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us."
Acts 5:27-28 (KJV)
And in the same chapter, after the confrontation with the council:
"41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. 42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
Acts 5:41-42 (KJV)
Again note in verse 42: "And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach..."
