I originally got the nickname Gooch in 1991 as a fraternity pledge name. At the time, the name was from the TV sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes." The Gooch was the bully that.was always threatening Arnold (until Willis stepped up to him!) You can look up old episodes with The Gooch in them.

All that changed around 2000
