You put it on the bottom right corner
Whoever owns the painting will 'get a cut' as you put it. If the artist owns the painting (not sold it off to someone else) then he will get paid.
It depends on the artist. Most never did.
I think its called coating but im not a girl
I don't know what commercial you are talking about but what I would do is contact what ever product the commerical is for. If I it is a commercial for let's say Folgers coffee then go to their website and e-mail them. I am sure they can put you in contact of the company who made the commercial. I am sure they will be able to tell you the name of the painting & the artist. Once you have the name of the painting and the artist you can search online and hopefully find it. I hope this helps some.
Do you mean collage?
You should put your name on your painting on the lower right side, but high enough that if a frame occurs without you knowing it, your name will still show.
Please rewrite your question and include more information in it, so it can be understood and answered. What painting? Where? If you are talking about a painting in a game, please put the name of the game in your question.
The most important thing is that people must be able to read it.You don't have to sign your whole name on the front of the painting, you could just put your initials to put your full name on the back of the painting.
I have a large painting by E. Jalava which was purchased by my parents back in the sixties for about $700.00. If you put one of this artist's paintings in a newer and darker natural wood frame, it will take on an awesome transformation. The ornate gold and lightly painted frames from that era seem to distract to much from the atmosphere painted by this artist.
