Where do giants in the Earth come from?

"when men started to grow in number on the surface of the ground and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of the true God began to notice that the daughters of men were beautiful. So they began taking as wives all whom they chose. "

Jehovah said: "My spirit will not tolerate man indefinitely, because he is only flesh. Accordingly, his days will amount to 120 years."

(Genesis 6:4)

"Neph′i·lim were on the earth in those days and afterward. During that time the sons of the true God continued to have relations with the daughters of men, and these bore sons to them."

As to Goliath as a 9 ft. giant , that was a rare birth not a result of demons materializing as men to have relation with women.

This is one case when we can not rely on the biblical evidence alone. If the giants such as Goliath really existed, archaeologists would undoubtedly have found them. If not their skeletons, at least indirect evidence that giants once lived - such as oversized houses or oversized eating utensils for a huge appetite.

In recent decades, archaeologists have focussed a good deal of attention on grave sites, not so much in search of giants but because graves often tell them more about an ancient civilisation than does monumental architecture. Yet, not only in biblical times but even tens of thousands of years ago, there is not a trace that any race of giants ever walked the earth. The giants of The Bible, like the giants of Greek mythology, came from the vivid imaginations of story tellers.
