Animal tissues can be grouped into four basic types: connective, muscle, nervous, and epithelial. Multiple tissue types comprise organs and body structures. While all animals can generally be considered to contain the four tissue types, the manifestation of these tissues can differ depending on the type of organism. For example, the origin of the cells comprising a particular tissue type may differ developmentally for different classifications of animals. The epithelium in all animals is derived from the ectoderm and endoderm with a small contribution from themesoderm which forms the endothelium.

Generally, cells differentiate into different tissues depending on the tissues surrounding them.

Are cells organized into groups?

Usually, a group of cells are organized and forms the tissues, the tissues in turn are organized and form into organs and the organs make up the system.

What do cells working together to do the same job form?

Cells working together to perform the same job form tissues. Tissues are groups of cells that work together to carry out specific functions in the body. Examples of tissues include muscle tissue and nerve tissue.

What are the organization levels of multicellular organisms?

The organization levels of multicellular organisms are cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems. Cells are the basic unit of life, tissues are groups of cells with similar functions, organs are structures composed of different tissues working together, and organ systems are groups of organs that work together to perform specific functions in the organism.

Tissues combine to form organs and organ systems.?

Yes, tissues are groups of similar cells working together to perform a specific function. These tissues combine to form organs, which are larger structures with specialized functions. Multiple organs working together in coordination form an organ system, all contributing to the overall function of the body.

What is the connection between cells and tissues?

Cells are the building blocks that make up all living organisms. Tissues are groups of like cells that, together, perform a function for the living organism. Organs are relatively independent groups of tissues (tissue or tissues) that work together to perform a function for the living organism
