Organisms that photosythesize get their energy from the sun
photosynthesize
chlorophyll
carbon dioxide. or, CO2
Photosynthesis occurs in Plants, and some Protists. One example of a Protist would be Algae. Animal cells eat photosynthesized organisms. Even some types of bacteria photosynthesize, namely cyanobacteria. Fungi, however, use the nutrients gathered from rotting organisms for energy and do not photosynthesize.

No not all living things photosynthesize. Only green plants are capable of doing so. The remaining organisms derive nutrition from other sources. Plants contain a special pigment called chlorophyll in specialised organelles called chloroplast which convert light energy to chemical energy. Most of the animals survive by depending on plants for their food.
Those that photosynthesize, more than they respire.
Fungi has a cell wall of chitin and cannot photosynthesize
protista
The trees cell will get energy from food and water.
