Padma, Brahmaputra, Meghna, Jamuna, Buriganga, Sitalakha, Korotoa
In bangladesh every one says like the major rivers are Padma, meghna, jamuna.
The Sundarbans delta is formed by the confluence of three main rivers: Ganges, Brahmaputra, and Meghna. These rivers deposit sediment and create the diverse ecosystem of the Sundarbans, which is the largest mangrove forest in the world.
One river is the Ganges River. Technically it is a distributary of the Ganges River, the Padma that empties into the Bay. Also there are several other rivers that flow through the Ganges Plain that enter the Bay of Bengal such as the Meghna and the Jamuna.
i have no idea xD
Padma & Jamuna
The Sunder ban delta is formed by the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna The Sunder ban delta is formed by the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna
Bangladesh has many rivers with large amount of fishes.A good external income comes from it by dint of big rivers padma, meghna, jamuna and so on.Natural Gas and corps ,vegetables are available here. But the government cricis and peoples here are not productive and not self reliant so these mostly happens impoverished and country is undergoing a critical way
Ganges flows through Bangladesh in the name of Padma. The many strems that originate from the combined discharge of rivers Ganga and Brahmaputra, in the name of Meghna, form delta near its mouth leading into the Bay of Bengal, and this region covers major potion of Bangladesh...so Bangladesh is a delta of the Ganges.
I am puzzled by your question in the use of the word you. The main river of Bangladesh is the Brahmaputra, which becomes the Jamuna River as soon as it enters Bangladesh. It then becomes the Padma River when the Ganges joins it some 72kms west of Dhaka. It then becomes the Padma-Meghna river when they join at Chandpur.
The main tributaries of Ganga are: The Chambal The Betwa The Son The other rivers which join it are: The Yamuna The Gandak The Ghaghara The Kosi
Apparently it is 210 km long. I'm also doing a project on Bangladesh and its rivers!Hope I could help :)
