You can find the "antichrist" in a number of places in the Bible. in Daniel 7, the antichrist is the little horn. In Revelation 13, the antichrist is the sea beast, and in Revelation 17, the antichrist is the Whore of Babylon.

The descriptions of these Bible characters perfectly match the Papal Church of Rome. Rome is the nation that the "little horn" comes from. Rome is the nation that crucified our Lord, and it is Rome that percesuted the saints of God throughout history.

May I add this for your consideration? Anyone or anything that counterfeits the true gospel plan of salvation and that openly or secretly opposes Christ. John the Revelator described the antichrist as a deceiver (1 Jn. 2:18-22; 4:3-6; 2 Jn. 1:7). The great antichrist is Lucifer, but he has many assistants, both spirit beings and mortals.
