I assume you're referring to Brake Pad anti-squeel. To the back of the Brake Pad (with the clips) and not the side that presses against the Brake rotor (material side).

Remove the wheels, take out the bolts holding the calipers on, depress the pistons in the calipers all of the way and then remove the calipers. Be sure to use the anti-squeek shims and grease in the new pads

Remove the wheels, then the bolt that holds the pin that holds the caliper on. Drive the pin out then depress the piston completely in the caliper. Make sure to use the anti squeek grease or shims when reassembling it.
