If speedometer itself is working then gears inside the assembly are damaged.
Speedometer gears are made of plastic or nylon they wear out. Changing Tire diameter can also mess with a speedometer. Tire size change can be corrected by getting the right sized speedo gear install to correct for the change in tire diameter.

There is no speedometer cable on that vehicle. The speedometer is driven electronically.
Speed sensor on Trans, or buffer behind dash... OR, any broken wires in this circuit. Very common problem on this and many other vehicles.
If the speedometer is not working it probably needs a new speedometer cable. If the speedometer is actually broken either take it to as speedometer repair shop or replace it.
