At the end, Lucius and Narcissa are separated from Draco while in the Dark Forest, waiting for Harry to come to Voldemort. Once Voldemort uses Avada Kadavra on Harry, he asks Narcissa to see if he is dead. As Narcissa hears his heart beat, she asks if Draco is alive in the castle, and he whispers yes to her. She saves him and claims that he is dead, and then when the Battle of Hogwarts resume, Lucius and Narcissa are seen running around, screaming for Draco, not even attempting to fight. Once Harry kills Voldemort and everyone is celebrating, the Malfoy family are off to the side, unsure if they should be there or not, but they are relieved that Voldemort has fallen.
