youtube - push mower oil change.... oil plug under mower deck
If its a push lawn mower. It has no oil release. The mower burns the oil. All you do is replace the oil when it gets low.
its between the fuel tank, and carb. its round and about an inch long
To change the oil on a Craftsman push mower, first, locate the oil drain plug underneath the mower. Place a container underneath to catch the old oil. Remove the drain plug and let the oil drain completely. Replace the drain plug and refill the mower with new oil to the recommended level. Dispose of the old oil properly.

You can order it from Sears online for about five bucks. I have been searching on line and can't find a free download either.
Not being sure what type (rider or pusher) or model mower we're talking about here....Here's my best guess: On a rider or lawn tractor the battery is usually under the seat or under the hood in the engine compartment. On a push mower, it may be under the engine shroud or...under the mower deck (usually in the back) behind a plastic cover. Sure fire way to find out is to grab hold of the wire (cable) at the starter and trace it. I'll guarantee you that one of the starter wires will lead you to the battery. Happy hunting, and good luck! :-)
The serial number on a Craftsman push mower is typically located on the rear or side of the mower's deck, near the engine. It may also be found on a label or sticker attached to the frame, often near the handle or under the grass catcher. For some models, the serial number might be on the engine itself. If you have difficulty finding it, refer to the owner's manual for specific guidance.
