This should search all directories in your computer and should also find the keylogger you're talking about.

So you wont get any viruses.
A bug is a insect and an anti virus programs that wont send no viruses in it.
because new viruses are CONSTANTLY being released. and if your Antivirus is using outdated virus signatures and the new virus comes in to your computer...the antivirus wont be able to see it and stop it and it will wreak havoc on your computer.
As far as my knowledge goes, it is nearly impossible to embed keylogger in anything except .EXE, .SCR, .CMD ,BAT etc file formats in short you can only embed keylogger in a file that has executable extension, however this can be hard to infect a remote pc with these file extensions because these days average computer user is smart enough to not open any file except images, videos, documents(pdf, doc,xl etc) and links, so if you send someone keylogger that ends with let say .EXE file extensions he wont open unless he trusts you enough and he requested you a software(because softwares have install package that usually ends with .exe)
yes you should but it will be very protective but you wont have any visuress

i love walking in the rain, as when it rains my tears wont be seen.
a lot of "free" anti-viruses wont work, some are the viruses themself. i have had a fake antivirus destroy my entire computer, then leave without a trace. so, if its Talk Talk, or Mcaffe, safe, if its spysherrif, or something like that, no. SpySherrif is an antivirus that is fake. Be careful out there. Answer: some do, some are fake.
