I'd go to a website where people chat and post messages about guns. Register at such a place, post a photo of your gun and close-ups of the writing or symbols stamped on it, and see what the other gun hobbyists can tell you. From a few seconds worth of Googling, it looks like a lot of "Sears model 20" shotguns were actually made by the High Standard company, similar to the HIgh Std. model 200, and they're nearly identical to the ones sold under the J.C. Higgins name, also called the Model 20.
