How do you get Makar out of the cage in the wind temple in wind waker?

i believe that you must first have the iron boots on, and have the hookshot in possession. ONce he is in jail, wear the iron boots and shoot the hookshot at the target on the stone head. The stone head should fall, and with it, makar should be free.

∙ 12y agoIT depends on what point of time your looking for him, if you haven't rescued Makar from the Forbidden Woods, you have to complete the boss to rescue him. If your trying to find Makar for the Wind Temple, you have to look in the Waterfall with music notes coming out of it at Forest Haven with the deku leaf. Hope this helps :)

∙ 10y agoMakar is located on the on the outside of the Great Deku Tree. When you are climbing up the Deku Tree to enter it, there are two waterfalls that you normally would swing over. Instead, use your Deku Leaf and fly into the waterfall on the right. Makar is hidden in a secret cave behind the waterfall.

∙ 13y agoYou must progress further in the temple and find the item called the Hookshot. Return to the cage once you have the Hookshot, and put on your Iron Boots. This will make you heavy so that when you shoot the target on the head holding the cage together, you will pull it over and open the cage up to free Makar.

∙ 12y agoyou have to go to the forbidden forest place with the Deku Leaf, get the boomerang, and cut down the blue tree... but i'm probably missing a crucial step, so you should probably go to the Zelda Dungeon website. That's how I beat that dungeon.
