The mollifying paste? If you haven't completed the "Appa's New Saddle" mission before being prompted to find the paste, the saddle mission is now mandatory. Once that mission is completed, simply just follow the green arrows on the map in the top-left corner of the screen. If you're still lost, go to the area where you very first began the Omashu level. Then go south and down the stairs. You'll come to a huge fountain. Go to the west and just before the fountain ends, there's a set of stairs. Go up those. That path has no extra paths, so just simply follow the course. The merchant with the paste is at the end of the road
